Modern Construction is actively searching for a construction Superintendent capable of managing the full life cycle of commercial construction projects. We are a fast growing General Contractor focused on the healthcare, hospitality and retail. Responsibilities:
- Participate in development and final review of scope, buy-out and schedule
- Research, review and address any owner, landlord, city/state requirement or procedure to avoid project delays, ensure safety and client satisfaction
- Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, inspections
- Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control and site cleanliness.
- Work in partnership with PM to maintain an updated and accurate daily project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project
- Manage subcontractors, ensure quality of work and enforce scheduling compliance
- Identify potential constraints to schedule, take proactive action to resolve
- Lead project site meetings and resolve any schedule or potential budget issues

Modern Construction – Director of Operations – Commercial Facilities
PLEASE NOTE: This position is for an experienced commercial facilities manager with history of managing work orders, work order margins and personnel for national customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
Directly oversee Facilities Department, and partner with the President on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the short and long terms
· Analyze internal processes and identify areas of process enhancement for the Facilities Department
· Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the President

· Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s Facilities Department.
